A BIG Thank You
David and I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone supporting us at Fairhill.
Since we bought Fairhill a few short months ago, we count ourselves very lucky to work with the wonderful team in both the nurseryand the café bar restaurant.
It is a pleasure to meet so many of our customers and guests—both long-standing friends of Fairhill and those discovering us for the first time.
We deeply appreciate the kindness from the wider community whose encouragement has made all the difference as we continue to grow and nurture this special place.
It’s been a lot of hard work from many people over the past weeks.
But, what do they say about “all work and no play”?
We’ve added plenty of playtime here at Fairhill with games in the gardens and the prettiest little chickens happily free-ranging.
We’re also thrilled to announce the start of Fairhill’s Sunday Sessions! Join us tomorrow Sunday, 22nd December, from 11am-2pm, for live music with renowned Argentinian singer-songwriter Chucho Bruno, who’ll be sharing mellow tunes to set the perfect vibe.
The Longroom Bar will be open with local beers, lagers, ciders, and spirits. Don’t miss out on house specials like White Christmas Sangria, Pimms, and LLBs, all paired with Chef’s award-winning food.
Bookings for breakfasts and lunch are recommended via OpenTable and walk-ins are also always welcome.

Why Visit Fairhill Gardens Farm Shop?
At Fairhill Gardens Farm Shop, we pride ourselves on delivering the best of **Sunshine Coast’s local produce**. By working with trusted local farmers and sustainable producers, we ensure that every item is fresh, nutritious, and ethically sourced. We are passionate about supporting regenerative agriculture and showcasing some of the incredible bounty that this region has to offer.
1. Farm-fresh pasture raised eggs
Our farm shop stocks our own pasture raised Sunshine Rich eggs, hand collected daily from our home farm just eight minutes away. Our hens move weekly onto vibrant, pesticide-free ground, enjoying the best of Australian-grown feed.
Our hens’ diet is supplemented with our special blend of berries, flowers, herbs and spices, resulting in noticably-rich orange yolks.
Very often, the eggs you’ll choose from our huge chiller cabinets have been collected the same day. Shopping like this means you’re getting the freshest produce and supporting farming practices that are in harmony with nature.
We also try to stock locally grown fruits and veggies when we can. Buying produce when it's in season reduces the need for artificial ripening and long-distance transport, lowering the carbon footprint and promoting a sustainable food system.
2. Organic and Locally Sourced Meats
At Fairhill Gardens Farm Shop, we are committed to offering the highest quality meats, raised in ways that respect both the animals and the environment. From Bamboo Park’s pasture-raised pork to the Sunshine Coast hinterland’s Phat Wag’s Wagu beef and tallow, all of our products come from farms that follow ethical, sustainable practices. These farms prioritize animal welfare, ensuring that animals are free to graze, forage, and live in natural environments.
This approach results in meats and eggs that are not only better for the planet but also packed with flavor and nutrients. When you buy from Fairhill Gardens Farm Shop, you're choosing ethically raised, hormone-free, and antibiotic-free meats that taste incredible and align with your values.
3. Support for Local Farmers and Artisans
When you shop at Fairhill Gardens Farm Shop, you're supporting local farmers and small-scale artisan producers who are dedicated to sustainable agriculture. Our farm shop serves as a platform for these hardworking individuals to share their produce with the community, helping to strengthen the local economy while also reducing the environmental impact of long-distance food transportation.
From locally produced jams, chutneys, and honey to artisanal bread and cheese, our farm shop offers a carefully curated selection of **Sunshine Coast artisan products** that celebrate the creativity and passion of our local food producers.
Sustainability at the Heart of What We Do
Sustainability is at the core of our mission at Fairhill Gardens Farm Shop. We believe that every step in the food production process—from farming to harvesting to packaging—should be done with respect for the environment. That’s why we work exclusively with farmers who use organic and regenerative farming methods, which focus on preserving soil health, conserving water, and reducing the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers.
What is Regenerative Farming?
Regenerative farming goes beyond sustainability by actively improving the health of the land. Farmers practicing regenerative agriculture aim to restore soil fertility, increase biodiversity, and capture carbon from the atmosphere, helping to mitigate climate change. At Fairhill Gardens Farm Shop, we are proud to support regenerative farmers who are leading the way in creating a food system that benefits both people and the planet.
